I don't understand...How does Warner have anything to do with LP's tour schedule?

I bought my ticket for the New Hampshire show last night, I also did the digital package too so I can get audio and pics from the show. I'm also going to the Madison Square Garden show in NYC, does anyone know where tickets for that show go on sale?

Touring schedules for basically any signed band are determined entirely by their tour promoter, who is almost always an employee of the record label. The band can always tell the promoter where they would LIKE to go, but ultimately the decision isn't theirs whatsoever.

I'm going to buy tickets for a show around me, but they aren't on sale yet - I was wondering, assuming the tickets are around 50, how much more is the souvenir package thing?

God, I don't want floor. Doesn't ticketmaster understand that!? I want lower bowl but I choose the lower bowl price and it gives me upper bowl and then I choose the 35$ price and I get main floor GA. For a show like this one, I don't want Main Floor. I want to be able to see shit.

I edited the following date into the first post:

March 10th - ARCO Arena, Sacramento, CA

It hasn't been announced by the band yet, but it's up on Ticketmaster: http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/703831

2 more dates were just announced today (well actually 3 but the Sacramento date was already listed on Ticketmaster), both are at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, on March 6th and 7th. Interesting to see them playing a 2-night stand on this tour when they're only doing one show per state everywhere else.

    What the fuck.

Linkin Park...please give me some of what your tour manager has been smoking. First he/she bypasses Philly...and then he/she books two days IN THE SAME FREAKING STATE.

Ugh this is very frustrating. I'm ready to scream.

I feel your pain. This tour doesn't even come anywhere close to where I live in Florida (unless you consider traveling thousands of miles close). There must be some crazy ass demand for the band in Vegas.

Way to skip Philly. Who does that?

This is no "U.S. tour" in my book.

    An ignoramus?
    A complete moron?
Someone with a lack of common sense?

    Take your pick.

There's at least one and possibly 2 tour dates still TBA, Coheed and Cambria's press release for the tour says they're "hitting 19 cities," and there are currently 18 dates scheduled, so there's at least one more and maybe 2 if you consider the 2 Las Vegas dates being in the same city.

Linkin Park's promoter must have surely felt that no one was going to come out to their shows. This is the first time I think I've ever seen them skip Cleveland on a tour.

Sure, they're playing Columbus, but still. Fuck driving four hours.

In the article recently posted about the DBS album, they end it by saying another Projekt Revolution is being planned. If LP are possibly hitting the road again in Summer or Fall 2008, they might play the cities being left out on this tour on that one.

That's what you get for complaining about Coheed and Cambria.

    I'm just kidding.

True, but it's still no excuse. When you think U.S. Tour, it usually means them hitting the major cities in the U.S. I think even the tour announcement said that. It's common sense. I guess Philadelphia, Cleveland and a few others aren't "major" enough to somebody's standards.

I'm having to drive over 4 hours to see them in OKC, because I missed the PR07 concert in Dallas:blink:

I always try to put myself in the shoes of the people in Bumfuck, Nebraska who must always think "LP always play in (insert major U.S. city), why do they never come here?" Then again this, tour has shows in NYC and Sacramento, so I guess your point is well taken.

Seriously though, not even in the fucking state of Florida?!?!?

LP announced another date today, March 4th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It's been known about since Chester mentioned it at the KROQ concert 5 days ago, but the date was officially announced today.
