Linkin Park will be starting a new string of Asia dates outside of Japan beginning with Taipei, Taiwan tomorrow, where they will play the Nanagang Exhibition Hall. This is the third time Linkin Park have played Taipei, with shows on November 16th, 2007 and August 13th, 2009 where they played both shows at the Taipei County Stadium. This show will be followed by three more dates in other countries including Jakarta, Indonesia (Sept. 21), Bangkok, Thailand (Sept. 23), and Singapore, Singapore (Sept. 25). After the Singapore F1 show the band will take a few weeks off and then play their last scheduled show of 2011 in Pensacola, Florida, USA. The band are coming off a show in Osaka, Japan on September, 16th where they performed the same set as Yokohoma, Japan on the 13th. This particular set opens with The Requiem into Papercut and closes out the encore with Crawling and One Step Closer. It has also been billed by many fans as having one of the strongest encores for a Linkin Park show, which includes Fallout, The Catalyst, Blackout, In The End, What I've Done and Bleed It Out. The Catalyst live from Osaka, Japan 16.09.2011 courtesy of devera1003 With only four shows remaining on the Asia leg of the A Thousand Suns World Tour, it still remains to be seen if the band will change up the set again and include something we haven't seen live for a while. This current leg hasn't received Wretches & Kings or Robot Boy but instead, Mike did perform No Roads Left during the bridge of Bleed It Out which was a great surprise, this however hasn't been done since Yokohoma so it's unknown if this will make a comeback or if only two shows will see the Minutes To Midnight b-side live in BIO bridge form. What would you like to see from the remaining few Asia dates? Are you still hoping for the unplayed Robot Boy? Maybe you want to see more older material on the setlist? How about more unexpected surprises like No Roads Left? Let us know on the LPA Forums! As always, we are looking for people to update the setlist for us. I just want Chester to say "you say you're not gonna fight 'cause no one will fight for you" at some point.
I loved the 2007 Taipei show! LP had so much energy and it was a HUGE crowd. I hope LP does something cool for this show...a debut of Robot Boy would be awesome, but I'm not so sure since I kind of lost hope after they didn't play it in Tokyo. Anyone think we will ever see it played live? The stripped down version Mike talked about at one point?
I expect at least one showing of the song during this tour. I am almost willing to bet my house on it.
LPL has reported a different setlist. Are you guys sure this is right? Edit: I think our setlist is wrong. Here's Blackout from the show today
I was about to post the same thing Benjamin, but you beat me to it grrr Another video of Blackout here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsT1yFoB6mU
Okay, our source who worked for MFR today sent us a picture from the venue of a setlist in hand which was setlist B16. However; the setlist posted on another fansite is Nagoya's setlist which conflicts 100% with what we posted. We are waiting for confirmation on which setlist is correct. Hopefully we receive it soon.
It appears our setlist for today was incorrect. Unfortunately when you're relying on sources, and are not there at the show yourselves these things happen. We apologize for the inconvenience, as this was the first time this tour this occured and we promise to make sure Jakarta's setlist is 100% correct. Our mistake. We're pretty frustrated this happened (given our great track record this tour) but basically the facts are that we had a setlist sent in via photo from the show but the person photographed the wrong setlist. We went with it, and we we're incorrect. Won't happen again. The correct and CONFIRMED setlist is now in the original post.
Has anyone confirmed what was played over Bleed It Out? It would be really nice to see No Roads Left played some more.
