Hi! I've been listening to some live performances lately amd I've noticed that Chester never seems to be able to complete the legendary 17-second scream off Given Up (I'll have to admit that it is amazing that he can do it at all). He can only seem to do it in two breaths, which isn't as awesome as one. So my question is: Does anyone know when was the last time Chester successfully completed the scream in one breath?
He did the full scream on multiple shows like Montreal show in 2008 and Columbus the same year He also did it while performing on AOL session stage That's all I remember for now

He does the full scream on the live given up video on LP youtube I think. (I'm not talking about the music video, I'm not THAT dumb)
You sound like a chick with glasses that everyone think she's so reserved when in fact,SHE is the one who always points out everything even though it's pretty obvious

He's done it 3 times at "normal" performances, plus a few times at shortened/in-studio type performances. -All "live-in-studio" performances from the spring of 2007 prior to Minutes to Midnight's release (Sessions@AOL, Stripped Music, Walmart Soundchecks, etc.) - how "live" these performances are is questionable though, as they were all filmed in early-mid March but not released until late April/early May, giving them plenty of time to touch them up. I forget which one it is, but I know at least one of these performances literally sounds like they pasted the album vocal of Given Up into it... -BBC Radio 1 performance in London on May 2nd, 2007. -4music Popworld performance in London on May 4th, 2007. -Selma, TX Projekt Revolution show on August 3rd, 2007 (first time at a full show in front of an audience). -Columbus, OH show on February 15th, 2008. -Montreal, Canada show on February 22nd, 2008. He also attempted to pull off the full scream in Melbourne, Australia on October 15th, 2007...the night he broke his wrist on stage. He was putting a lot more behind his screams than usual that night with all the pain he was in, so he went for the full scream, but didn't quite finish it.
Haha. I've always wanted to ask Chester about his screams or request a certain one but I feel like he wouldn't like that too much lol.
Well, he never really talks about his screams in any kind of detail. Some fans (like me) are so particular about his screaming technique and all the different screams he's done; I think between 2003 and 2004 he was literally the best screamer in the world.... yet he rarely talks about his screaming. To me, that sends the message that it's something he considers very personal. Just my 2 cents.
I really liked the technique he used to back in 2000-2004 for rasp voice and screaming, now he doesn't have that technique anymore Sorry for my english
I don't think that he can do it anymore, he did it back in 2007-2008 and he almost died He could try it... Sorry for my english
