On September 11th Linkin Park will play their second consecutive show in Chiba, Japan at the Makuhari Messe. It will be the 4th show of this current Asia tour and the second of five Japan shows.

Also going on today before the show is the last day of the ongoing LPU Summit in Japan. Two days ago, the band kicked off the summit with the A Thousand Horizons charity event (which you can rewatch HERE) which featured a unique digital show followed by a long Q&A with Linkin Park. As for today, the summit will include activities such as backstage tours, walking on the band's stage, and an exclusive LPU auction among other things. After today, Linkin Park will have successfully hosted five LPU summits. The other four were in London, England, Sydney, Australia, Chicago, Illinois, and Hamburg, Germany.

As already mentioned, Linkin Park played a show in the same venue last night. However, the setlist that was played has still not been 100% confirmed as of now. Although, it has been confirmed by various sources that "The Requiem" opened the show followed by "Papercut" and that "In the End" and "Bleed it Out" were the last two songs played. With that being true and looking at Linkin Park's setlist history, it's most likely safe to speculate that last night's set didn't include anything new compared to the band's past few shows except for "Bleed it Out" being moved to the closing spot instead of "One Step Closer."

The last few minutes of the performance of "Bleed it Out" featuring "A Place for my Head" from last night has surfaced on youtube:

Despite still not getting confirmation from last night's show, we hope to have better luck tomorrow. Hopefully that's the case because with the band playing in the same place for the second straight night, the odds are favorable that the band will change things up a bit.

If you're going to the show, please let us know by commenting in our forums or tweeting us @lpassociation. We could use your help!

Setlist:

01. The Requiem
02. Faint
03. Lying From You
04. Given Up
05. What I've Done

Don't you mean 11.09.2011 Ben? but I was absolutely taken aback by ATH Day 1. I expect tomorrow to be even more awesome for the Japanese over there.

I've already slapped myself for doing that in the shoutbox. Oh how I wish I had the power to change thread titles.

What are you saying? Only Admins can fix thread/news titles. Or am I wrong?

It should give you the option to edit the thread title when you edit the post, I think.

This is why European date formats suck. Edited for you Ben!

The European date format aka the rest of the world (I think) use quite a good format.
Imagine it like this: The day is small, the month is medium and the year is large.
Look at it like that the European date format goes: small, medium, large
The United States format is going medium, small, large.
It doesn't make sense. :p

you've just been had by the venture to 40,000 posts! :awesome:

Ben, you can edit a thread title as long as no one has posted in the thread or is viewing the thread at the time. But if someone posts then I don't think you can.

Similarly, if you edit a post in a thread and no one views it before you edit it, then it will NOT "Last edited ...." at the bottom of the post. I tested both of these, and that's what happens. It might be a glitch or a bug, I dunno.

Edit: I edited this post.

Eh, so nothing really different and no Robot Boy.

Owell, Robot Boy won't ever happen. Which will make it the first song on a studio album that the band has never preformed.

What the hell? lol, our source updated as the show went on with the standard set and also was at the Summit, where nothing out of the ordinary took place, there were no acoustic set and the band didn't appear until the M&G. So yeah, I'm not sure what that's about.

Yeah some fans are freaking out and claiming such, yet numb_kid said they didn't do anything special and as Joe said, he updated as the show went on..song by song.
