This Sunday Linkin Park will return to Brazil for the third time in their career. It's no secret that Brazilian Linkin Park fans are some of the most passionate and vocal about their eagerness to see the band perform in their country again and now as part of the LIVING THINGS World Tour, that's going to happen. Linkin Park will play a total of four shows in the country, kicking it off at the Parque Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil tomorrow night. The last time they played Brazil was at the 2010 SWU Festival on October 11th, 2010 with only one other date coming prior on September 11, 2004 at the 2004 Chimera Music Festival. New Divide live from Buenos Aires - October 5th 2012 via Guille Klosr Linkin Park are coming off a strong show in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 5th, which was the opening show of Linkin Park's five date run in Argentina and Brazil for the LIVING THINGS World Tour. The band played Set B which begins with A Place for My Head and includes, With You, Somewhere I Belong, IN MY REMAINS and closes with One Step Closer (View full set here). As predicted the band didn't change up anything in the set for that show and it's expected it will stay this way until at least the South Africa dates beginning in Cape Town, South Africa on November 7th. The Argentina crowd were very impressive, high energy, loud and even arranged a flashmob during LOST IN THE ECHO where they held up lyrics on paper in the crowd. In fact, the show was so crazy, according to LPA member Jack_Farrell, Linkin Park had to stop mid-way through New Divide to tell the fans to help each other up off the floor! Definitely a good start to this leg of the tour. The show from São Paulo, Brazil will be broadcast live from Parque Anhembi on both web and TV. Multishow in Brazil will air the concert on live TV and also via the Multishow Website. The show kicks off at 9PM local BRT time so check below for the time conversions. There's no direct link or information on whether or not it will be geo-blocked or not yet, but we'll update the link when we know. Jesus Christ, the mosh pits were insane. A Place For My Head brought the fucking place DOWN. No-one says that New Divide was stopped completely and not restarted. At around the 2nd chorus they started asking us to pick up the ones who had fallen. Chester said we were animals but that Norway was crazier. FUCK THAT. This was batshit insane. I stepped on more glasses and iPhones than I've had cellphones in my life.
Wait, so New Divide was cut short because they had to stop to ask people to pick other people up? And they didn't even restart it? Hahaha.
That's awesome. Thanks for letting me know, I'll edit that in the post. Sounds crazy. Do you know anything about the flashmob?
Yes, it had been planned several weeks in advance. It happened during Lost in the Echo. The street team here in Argentina had prepared several phrases from LITE so that people could print them and bring them over. "Get Lost", "This Time I Finally Let You Go" and some others were there. Also a guy tried to cross the train tracks that led to the stadium but died electrocuted.
Wow it´s Brazil time finally!!! I´ll be there...since it´s not a festival like SWU i can see it would be INSANE!!!
Travelling today to Sao Paulo, this show's gonna be insane I hope they also play the set with APFMH :F
Backpack? Check Ticket? Check LPU Laminate? Check Front row? ABSOLUTELY! Argentina, you built it up... WE'LL BREAK EVERYTHING BACK DOWN!
