Linkin Park returns and enters the second half of the Honda Civic Tour tonight in Dallas, Texas at the Gexa Energy Pavilion. The band returns to Dallas after last year's performance at the American Airlines Center and is expected to perform Set A as the rotated setlists return to a single date rotation. This will be the band's first appearance at the Pavilion since its name change. Following this performance, Linkin Park will head to Houston, Texas. As the second phase of the tour begins, rumors circulate about the forthcoming addition of POWERLESS into the setlists. Chester Bennington speculated ,earlier this Summer, about the possible performance of the song in future dates. Regarding songs from the sets, Crawling continues to be replaced with When They Come For Me, IN MY REMAINS continues to be only performed in Set A, and A Place For My Head continues to only be performed in Set B. The Chicago concert included a meeting of fans and fellow LPA members in a LPA/LPU gathering. Interested in doing the same? Brad was the only one playing guitar for the entire song not counting the intro. Mike attempted to make up for it by playing his usual chords on the keyboard. - Lying From You was dropped from the set and replaced by IN MY REMAINS. Sorry guys, my phone died during the meet and greet.
It's an okay setlist IMO! Could've been a bit better, but they played New Divide, and LITE, so it passes ;D (Should'vve played Burning in the Skies too...). I'm so happy for you that they played SIB! Anyways, nice!! Hope you had a great time at both M&G and the actual show! (Btw, didn't you charge your phone at work before going? xDDD)
I did, but my phone is a battery monster. It also didn't help that I was trying to send that damn picture of the Ketchup shirt from the M&G like 30 times.
You actually tried to send it! That must have sounded interesting with the piano sound. Maybe it even sounded better. Anyhow, it's okay. No big deal with the setlist.
It's nice seeing a topic on this show outside of LPU or LPL that doesn't obsess over the apparent "news" that Chester has a mohawk, haha
