I know. I've seen his comments. He clearly loves the nu metal LP. Not really. But I do know that you and I both agree that Meteora is the band's worst album.
Why they can't play 25 song sets yet is beyond me. Even with the supposed curfews these venues have in place, you'd think bands like LP are respected enough to be able to tweak the rules just a little bit. Speaking of tweaking, making a few slight changes (coughmorelivingthingscough) can suddenly make Set B mind-blowing: 01. With You (Game of Thrones Intro) 02. Papercut 03. Given Up (Ext Outro) 04. In My Remains 05. New Divide 06. Victimized/QWERTY 07. Lies Greed Misery 08. Points of Authority 09. Castle Of Glass 10. Waiting For The End (Apache Intro/Ext Outro) 11. Roads Untraveled 12. The Medley 13. The Catalyst 14. Numb (Encore Outro) 15. What I've Done 16. In The End 17. One Step Closer (Ext Outro) ----------------------- 18. Lost In The Echo 19. Blackout 20. Tinfoil 21. Powerless 22. Faint (Ext Outro) 23. Bleed It Out (Sabotage Bridge/Outro) Only two more songs to fit overall, and yet it adds so much flavour to the set. Change POA with WTFCM if you want.
Anyone read this review of the show? http://www.enterprisenews.com/blogs/music-scene/x1685744842/Linkin-Park-rocks-Comcast-Center The journalist was fanboying over the band, until he said Bleed It Out was not a great finale song. Whaaaaaat.
I was really hoping to hear WTCFM, In My Remains, and blackout. But I got screwed.... By the way, somewhere in that setlist should have been leave out all the rest / shadow of the day / ??? I can't remember what the last song was but it was a transition between the three of those, kind of like a mashup
It IS on there. The setlist on the site has it as "The Medley", which is the common name for the Leave Out All the Rest/Shadow of the Day/Iridescent medley.
It's just one complaint after another with LP fans....they are playing half of LT live now. And the rest will come in later tours. They have never once played every song off the new album on the first tour after its release. The only time they played a good amount of new material really early was the first tour after Meteora, because it was only their second album and the material is simple as shit to translate to a live setting. We have gotten Burn It Down, Lies Greed Misery, Lost in the Echo, In My Remains, Victimized, Tinfoil, and part of Until It Breaks, with still one setlist waiting to be unveiled. And don't forget that this is a big sponsor tour, not one that they run themselves like Projekt Revolution.
Well we need Castle Of Glass, Roads Untraveled, Skin To Bone and Powerless, they'd all be epic. I don't understand why songs like Numb and shit like SIB can't be replaced with it. Basically replace all Meteora tracks for it.
SIB will be more frequent because not only is it one of the band's most successful singles (it did better than Waiting for the End, Faint, Papercut, etc), it has an epic new intro. I've been waiting for SIB throughout the entire ATS tour but NO they let me down.
I think the lead singles for all the albums (OSC, SIB, WID, Catalyst, BID) now have a really low chance of being dropped now that the band have established that they're really popular songs.
does anyone know if the show is up for download yet? I really want to download as I have everyother show that I have been to.
Check the LP website! It's not available as of yet, the only shows from HTC that are available right now are Bristow and Uncasville.
Well I downloaded the show, its up for download now. I just want to know what is everyone using for album art? I know when I dowloaded last years show from the boston garden it had album art work. I'm really particular when it comes to album artwork.
I used the picture "stage" that came with the download. Also, as a side note: I thought the setlist was fine for the show. As much as I would have loved to hear some more new songs live, I can't say I'm disappointed because I thought the show was amazing.
