I know they're different, but obviously I don't have a key for the weird B thing. So I have to use the double ss. Like if I say soemthing is ueber, I use ue because I don't have umlauts. I hate it when people type it like "uber" without the umlauts or the ue.
You should go to Spain, my ancestors are from there! :spain: :awesome:

I didn't really like it up there, I didn't have any friends and I don't enjoy the company of my family very much either. I can't just leave my gf either.
Surely you of all people know that the "ss" makes a "ß"? :shifty:
You do seem to be abnormally interested in other countries. Germany's a pretty great place to be, I don't see why you'd want to move.

MN has a nice landscape but not much else, which is why I moved away. My parents are always trying to get me to move back with them, and I'm like "...no."
I don't have anyone to speak German too IRL, I think I lost a lot of my pronunciation skills. Ich heisse Will...I think I'm doing it right.
Yeah, as far as I know there isn't anything to do at the Grand Canyon. You guys should learn about Los Angeles. :head:

I don't really eat that much chocolate. I eat sandwiches all the time, though...

      I would hope so!

Yeah don't visit the American south, a lot of idiots here that hate anything or anyone different.

Yes, there are a lot of different cultures but only in the states/cities that are big and culturally diverse. Like New York City, or California, where I grew up. In California there's a lot of Hispanic people, like me, Eastern Asians, Armenians, blacks, and white people. I grew up in a diverse place. But Minnesota and Maine are mostly just white people, and New Mexico is mostly Mexicans and white people. So, it depends where in America you go. I suggest you visit California or New York to get the best out of USA culture.
If you ever are curious about anything in America, you can always ask me. Or any Spanish, too.
Yes, I've heard Latin is a hard language to learn, the only pay-off is if you are genuinely interested in the history behind it.
I've actually forgotten a lot of German, but I'm remembering a little now that I have people like you to joke around with in Deutsch.
You spelled it correctly. What exactly are you learning about the Grand Canyon? There's not much there, lol.

That's very true. America is bordered on the north by Canada (where they speak English and French) and on the south by Mexico (where they speak Spanish). It's useful to know French if you ever run into French-Canadians in Minnesota or Maine (both places I've lived in), and to know Spanish if you run into Hispanic people in the Southwest, where I grew up and lived in some places too. Luckily I know Spanish and just a few things in German, so I can interact with these cultures a little better than the average American redneck. I would still love to learn more though.
I really want to learn Latin. It is a dead language, but it's also a major language that contributes to later languages like Spanish, French, Italian. The history behind it is so interesting. I also like using Latin in some stories that I write.
Haha, I learned about Einhoernchen and Hose. I learned that the food in Germany is really good, I learned about Mopeds and shit too. Kind of random stuff, actually.

That's interesting. Americans would be pissed if their children were forced to learn Spanish or French from a young age  I think it's better because then you learn about a new culture while you learn the language. I already speak Spanish since I'm Hispanic, so I took German in 11th grade and I learned a lot about German culture. It was really fun. Autobahn

All the Germans can speak English? That's pretty impressive. Most Americans only know English, and they're still pretty bad at speaking English anyway. I imagine the bigger cities like Berlin would have more English-speakers than a little town in the country by Frankfurt or something.
Even if they know how to speak English, they'll never know why a butler would ask them to try the ketchup.

I like the Ketchup one best, but the 8-bits look good too. The Ketchup one will be especially funny in Germany because only a few people will read the English
