I re-structured the song. I was bored. No hate.

    God bless us every one
We're a broken people living under loaded gun
    And it can't be outfought
    It can't be outdone
    It can't be outmatched
    It can't be outrun
    No

And when I close my eyes tonight
    To symphonies of blinding light
(God bless us every one / we're a broken people living under loaded gun)
Oh / like memories in cold decay
    Transmissions echoing away
Far from the world of you and I
Where oceans bleed into the sky

And when I close my eyes tonight
    To symphonies of blinding light
(God bless us every one / we're a broken people living under loaded gun)
Oh / like memories in cold decay
    Transmissions echoing away
Far from the world of you and I
Where oceans bleed into the sky

    God save us every one
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns
For the sins of our hand
    The sins of our tongue
    The sins of our father
    The sins of our young
    No

    God save us every one
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns
For the sins of our hand
    The sins of our tongue
    The sins of our father
    The sins of our young
    No

And when I close my eyes tonight
    To symphonies of blinding light
(God bless us every one / we're a broken people living under loaded gun)
Oh / like memories in cold decay
    Transmissions echoing away
Far from the world of you and I
Where oceans bleed into the sky

    Lift me up
    Let me go

    God bless us every one
We're a broken people living under loaded gun
    And it can't be outfought
    It can't be outdone
    It can't be outmatched
    It can't be outrun
    No

    God save us every one
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns
For the sins of our hand
    The sins of our tongue
    The sins of our father
    The sins of our young
    No

    God save us every one
Will we burn inside the fires of a thousand suns
For the sins of our hand

If I would reconstruct this it would go like:

    - Mike singing "lift me up, let me go" softly over the grand piano
    - Keyboard fades in with the electro beat; "god bless us" part x2
    - Mini synth breakdown
    - "god save us" part x2
    -Longer synth breakdown
    - "like memories in cold decay" part x2 (second time would have distortion and skipping like blackout remix)
    - fades into synth and grand piano
    - "lift me up, let me go" harmonized x4
    - climatic chester "lift me up let me go"
    - ends with the band singing "lift me up let me go" with chester singing the "god save us" part rather than the other
    - fade out.

This does seem like a song that could be re-structured, if not de-constructed / re-constructed and potentially made to sound better.

I know it isn't one of those songs songs but I was just thinking about it being more for the radio and I think came up with the structure.

God bless us - basically special lyrics.
And when I - the verse.
God save us - the chorus.
Lift me up - the bridge lyrics.
