    Linkin Park's 4th studio album has hit number one in the USA despite tough competition from Trey Songz mid-week. Congratulations to Linkin Park on their third consecutive album to debut at the top spot!

    Update: Billboard has announced that A Thousand Suns sold 241,000 copies in the first week, beating Trey Songs by a mere 1,000 records (Trey came in second with 240,000). Good work Linkin Park!

    Yeah, we were originally waiting for Nielsen to give 100% confirmation, but Machine Shop basically confirmed it for us on Twitter. So congratulations, LP!
