There is usually only lukewarm interest in the reading group, but if enough people recommend something, I'd be willing to do it again.

However, since I chose the last two, I'd rather someone else pick and lead the next one.

I would be willing to lead it again, if you'd like. I would rather not pick the book though so maybe we could get a few ideas and hold a vote? I'm just worried about picking something that no one else would enjoy. :p

I'd love to be involved, I'd just probably have trouble acquiring the book, usually.

Do you access to a library? Maybe we could try to choose a book that is pretty common in libraries.

I'll leave it in the hands of the forum to decide on a book/schedule. Let me know when you're ready, and I'll sticky a thread.

I'd be willing to participate. So, y'know, just throwing my piece in. Another thing - internet libraries tend to be pretty well-stocked, too.

I'm fine with that. What does everyone else suggest?

Well, I can get a copy of "Slaughterhouse-five". I'll just finish off "American Psycho" tomorrow ... and I'll be set to go with this one by Monday, at the latest.

EDIT: Well, I finished reading "American Psycho". :)

Slaughterhouse Five is one of my favourite books, but I haven't read it in quite a while. I might just participate as well.

That's actually one book I haven't read, so I am in. I need to get my hands on a good book. Its been a while since I read something new.

I'm cool with Vonnegut. I have that book, too, somewhere. Read it a long, long time ago and really liked it.

I'm fine with any of these choices. I'm eager to get into a book sometime but I was waiting for others to chime in first! :p

    What's the criteria for a suggestion? :)

Anyway, I'm free, now -- no immediate pressing concerns, so just let me know when this kicks off.

So, are we on hiatus waiting 'til other people are freed up or what?

There is no criteria as far as suggestions go, at least to my knowledge...

Well, this thread kinda looks like it's been deserted ^.^' But I'm going to go ahead and suggest something anyway

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

It's a trilogy, so If we did do it we could continue on with the other 2.
