The two songs from A Thousand Suns that have been released, which one is better in your opinion? Please post why you think so too.

I prefer wretches and kings. Just overall a better beat and sound imo. Played it at full volume just before and The Catalyst didn't have the same affect on me

Wretches and King for sure man. From the moment I heard the preview on the LPTV episode, I was literally shaking in excitement. I went to school and told my friends and unlike me, they think The Catalyst is shit blah blah they only like Hybrid & Meteora.
Lol getting a bit off topic but yeah, after I heard the full thing, I was just like.......:O THAT. WAS. SO. FKN. EPIC. :D
I love the part where Chester speaks gibberish :p

I prefer The Catalyst for the overall new sound, but I do love Mike rapping on Wretches and Kings. However, overall... The Catalyst wins for me.

Again, The Catalyst wins for me and I really hope that Wretches and Kings is the only song of that sort on the entire album. It seems backwards to me to release such a progressive and energetically powerful song such as The Catalyst and then release a song that could fit on any of their previous works with very few tweaks.

I'm sorry to say but attaching intros and outros of political speeches onto a song will not make a bad song into a good song, it'll just make the song a bad song with speeches and thus an even bigger shitfest in the end. I have to say it is a bit better than anything on Meteora (besides the drumming on Easier to Run) but still it seems like it could fit easily on there and that IMHO is a step backwards.

    The Catalyst wins tenfold.
Hopes that will get more of the new and less of the old.

I love Wretches and Kings but The Catalyst wins because it was more unique. I do love the chorus in W&K though

    The Catalyst for sure.....
Because of the uniqueness and its epic ending...W&K is also good, though.

I think Wretches and Kings is great, but I much prefer The Catalyst. Overall, that has more of a musical and emotional impact for me. I think in the context of the album I would understand Wretches and Kings better, and I guess you could say the same about The Catalyst. Considering the two are standing alone right now, I think The Catalyst is overall the better song that feels the most complete and certainly more different than the Linkin Park we're used to. WK is like Derek said on his Facebook. It's Linkin Park, but it's just a bit more evolved in terms of the beat and the production. The Catalyst is rather different for them.

The Catalyst definitely. While I like Wretches and Kings it actually lowered my expectations for the album quite a bit.. at least it makes the waiting more bearable though.
