Ignore them. The only LP song they have probably heard is 'In the end'
I hate LP's facebook fans and the shit people post on youtube comments

I'm wondering how the band will make the old stuff incorporate the new sound...I'll definitely be surely impressed either way...and I'm also really excited to hear how "The Catalyst" will sound live..I'm sure it will sound really awesome to say the least...=] =]

When I think of their new live direction with ATS sounds on previous songs I think of the intro to No More Sorrow with the long drawn out spacey sound with some guitar over it.

I'm excited. I love it anytime they throw in intros/ outros. I think that's one of the reasons Muse pwn face live.

Ya, sometimes it's just so frustrating to see people (especially on youtube) scolding how bad they think the present LP is.
Well imo, everyone are free to express their opinions on the music but those comments are just far from being constructive in any way.
It's sad to see old fans acting like 'professional haters' and not just leaving LP alone.

I must say that I hate the fans here in my country. Most of them are whiny babies who claim themselves as "Hybrid Soldier" and bash the brains out of "MTM" -> Now =)
Everytime there is an article about LP, they will say something like "LP lost their spirit" or "They need to return to HT, M or Nu-Metal" or "They are more and more mainstream-y". The losers always find every stupid reason to hate LP =), though they used to be LP fans but when they hate them, they never leave them alone.

From where i come from... 50% of ppl who like LP have jus heard a max. of 5 LP tracks, which include 'In the End' and 'Numb' like a couple of u mentioned...
So when they come to know that LP's new record is releasin, by default they expect somethin on the lines of the tracks they have heard n very much love.. :(

off topic... Im really very intrigued to see how LP perform ATS tracks live... Considerin 'The Catalyst'... as der isn't much guitar in it... i think Brad will be playin the keyboard n piano parts at the start n end of the track... Mike may jus concentrate on the vocals as he is singing more..

I'm seeing Rob expand his drum kit and experiment more live, and play along the beats.
Joe Hahn..hmm..I see him doing extra scratchy bits, other than the ones on the song.

Linkin Park is a legend! :p

I hope someone other than Mike will play the keyboard in The Catalyst, it'll be more epic-like if Mike and Chester stand in front stage singing their lungs out.

Great interview. I love how Mike states that the band actually created boundaries for themselves, and that they have more-or-less broken through them by now. Let's hope Mike keeps to that mindset and carries it over to the band indefinitely.

The band has always been tweaking around with the intros of their older songs. Including several occasions significant in where an entirely new intro is added before the actual song is played. Perhaps for the next touring cycle, they'll be integrating the intros into the song itself.
