    It's interesting that a song as different and challenging as The Catalyst is having this much success, congrats to the band.

    But I honestly thought that this song (as great and awesome as it is) would totally tank on the charts.

    The only thing I can think of is that a lot of the people who say they despise it are secretly in love with it and this chart shows the outcome.

    ....I love The Catalyst, but I honestly did not think this single would have so much success. It doesn't even sound as radio-friendly as all of LP's past singles!
