Don't expect LP's video to be in the same league as Eminem's "Love the way you lie".

I think Joe Hahn's great and all and but he ain't no Joseph Kahn.

 

They just played it on Kerrang! radio and asked people for there views, almost every view mentioned was completely negative, people saying it's too different, or too confusing =/

Can't say I disagree, I don't hate the track, it is very listen able, but it just doesn't quite ROCK.

 

Can't say i'm surprised that kerrang listeners hate it though it's not exactly a rock song. I do find it quite a repetitive song myself and I understand why non hardcore fans won't like it. I'm sure or hoping the rest of the album won't have the same song structure like this though.

 

Don't hate me for strugling to like the song, I have listened to it 196 times according to itunes and I am still unsure of it.

I do feel however that this song could easily be a part of an amazing album, there sounds awesome listening to it as a whole.

 

Finally heard the song played on radio today for the first time down here in Houston. I think they have been playing it but not as much as other LP singles. I listen to the song once or twice every couple of days. It's a good song but I'm not blown away by it or anything.

 

I've observed nearly every single forum (mode of communication not messages boards per say) from youtube (all the assortment of uploads) lp's official upload, the medal of honor trailer, facebook, myspace, lastfm, my local alternative rock station, and the comments (i've also heard from people who've called in here in Michigan) have been absolutely negative. 130%. (no i don't mean there haven't been any positive ones ,I'm trying to get a point across) this is easily the most dislike LP single I've seen. "the catalyst" will go down as fact, as the least liked new LP single they've had yet. I'm NOT trying to troll, and I do enjoy the song, but its very very obvious not only those who want HT/MT, but those who love music ask why on earth would they listen to this when they can listen to something like Pendulum, God Is An Astronaught, Celldweller etc.
