I just have the 320kbps MP3 that they sent me for my preorder. I'm not the kind of person who really cares about the highest quality music file out there, since I'm just glad to have something to listen to.
But you got new headphones! You have to care lol. The lossless version would do wonders on your headphones. I've yet to spoil myself with TC in that department and it's why I am waiting for the album to drop. I am never ever hearing an LP album again, unless it's in cd quality or flac / lossless quality. Other than that.. I should be kicking myself in the ass.
It's linkin park, you like it or you don't, not to be offensive or anything, but whether or not you like it or not, it's here and unless they want to change that, nothing else is going to happen. let other people give there opinion and just respect it, whether it's good or bad nothing you say is going to change the direction they choose. As for me, I'm one of the people Linkin Park won over again. I liked Hybrid Theory and Meteora, disliked everything about Minutes to Midnight, and like The Catalyst, I find it refreshing although it can use more lyrics, but it's linkin park, there hiding that somewhere within A Thousand Suns.
Its nothing real special though, they are only a 15 dollar pair of Sony Heavy Bass Earphones, and i had to buy em anyway.
You get some cool perks, but otherwise it's not necessary. I've been a fan for quite a while but only got a membership this year.

I believe you can pay monthly or yearly. Not really sure. I payed yearly. My membership expired last year though and I have yet to renew it.
No, I just bought a regular Best Buy fan pack. You only pay for that and you get a year's worth. (Although for some reason, mine came with two codes. Is this normal?)

People are looking at them wondering what the hell they're doing...and they're just being who they are and doingwhat they want to do...which happens to be waaaaaay different from what they used to do. I'm not trying to put words in your mouth. I thought that I read that if you take away rapping, it's not Linkin Park. That is why I said that. Yeah, I totally read your posts and am not being aggressive. I know what you've been saying., but what you find to be their "core" or "entity", really isn't. It may have been in the late 90s and early 00s, but that isn't what makes Linkin Park who they are. You want them to keep something that they consider a phase and you consider something potentially everlasting
