As we know, Linkin Park has a large amount of singles and songs released now, and probably enough to make a Greatest Hits album. What songs would you like to see on a Greatest Hits album, and would you want it to have brand new unreleased tracks on it as well?

Most of the singles without a doubt (WOULD BE on there): One Step Closer, Crawling, Papercut, In The End, Somewhere I Belong, Faint, Numb, Breaking The Habit, What I've Done, Shadow Of The Day, Given Up, Leave Out All The Rest, New Divide.

I'd be willing to be Numb / Encore would also be included near the end, as well as a few favorites such as A Place For My Head and Points Of Authority.

What would I like? I wouldn't mind many of the singles such as the aforementioned but would like to see a good 4-5 fan favorites without a doubt (and maybe for fun songs like And One, Carousel, and Dedicated.... couldn't go wrong with High Voltage either)

If they did, it would contain all of their singles and maybe a few songs like Papercut or Lying From You. Maybe 1 or 2 underground songs like QWERTY and maybe a High Voltage. I would also expect an unreleased track at the end. It's gonna be interesting to see if LP does anything special for HT 10 year anniversary.

Yeah I know, that's only what I would want, they'd obviously never release that :)

I don't think underground songs need to stay exclusive to the LPU members. Isn't it exclusive enough that they have had these songs for up to 10 years before anyone else?

An LP Greatest Hits would probably just look like this (not in this order):

    One Step Closer
    Crawling
    In The End
    Somewhere I Belong
    Lying From You
    Faint
    Breaking The Habit
    Numb
    Bleed It Out
    Shadow Of The Day
    What I've Done
    New Divide
The Catalyst + Other ATS singles

That's around 15 songs. Hopefully with some b-sides. LP has a lot of well-known singles.

I think LPU members would feel ripped off if they released the songs that the LPU pay good money to hear.

As an LPU member, I wouldn't. I've accepted the fact that any LPU exclusive stuff can probably be found online.

Plus, Songs From The Underground? They've already done it before.

Songs From The Underground is only a mere sample as to what LPU tracks there are (even though i have to say that there are a few tracks i would've preferred over others).

For me, i have come to the fact that NOTHING is exclusive to LPU anymore, with the ATS Preorder getting non-LPUers tickets in advance, with torrents of LPU releases out there that people are going to download anyway, and Mike coming into the LPN (just to get spammed nonstop by the LP.com noobs) when originally, band chats were supposed to be LPU exclusive.

However that may be, I do have to agree with Sarah at this point. I pay good money (that I could use for something else) just to be on the LPU and get the exclusive tracks legally, while we have a LOT of people who refuse to pay money and download the torrents for LPU tracks for free, which in turn isn't supporting the band at all, and seems like a kick in the face to everyone who does want to pay the yearly fee, so that they can get the new and exclusive tracks every year from the band they truly support.

Trust me, I WISH there was a way to keep LPU stuff exclusive. I used to get kind of pissed when someone would post something off the LPU, but it just comes to a point where you have to accept the internet for what it is. Accessible.

Lets see, I think a realistic list would be 17-20 tracks long, fitting as many singles as possible. I think it would end up USA-centric, meaning Papercut and FTI dont count as singles, though i would love to have them on.

    1. *second single off ATS*
    2. The Catalyst
    3. New Divide
    4. Leave Out All the Rest
    5. Given Up
    6. Bleed It Out
    7. What I've Done
    8. Breaking the Habit
    9. From the Inside
    10. Numb (Numb/Encore?)
    11. Lying From You
    12. Faint
    13. Somewhere I Belong
    14. Pts of Athrty
    15. In The End
    16. Pushing Me Away
    17. Papercut
    18. Crawling
    19. Runaway
    20. One Step Closer

Of course, what I think is the best greatest hits album is a box set of all the albums XD

Yeah, they have. Plus, does it really matter after the year is over and the next ones come out? After the year's out, barring stuff like SFTU or winning LPU lottery, the songs kinda get unobtainable.

I honestly don't see NRL being played live. But who knows, Mike could surprise us.
