Medal of Honor/The Catalyst Trailer Released

Seems cool. Obviously the structure was set to the video and I'm sure we'll get some verses in a 5 min+ song ... so chill, the song has a lot of potential if the parts are built up to and utilized correctly.

I was a hater of What I've Done so I guess I've learned my lesson. LP wouldn't release something that wasn't awesome in some way, we just have to learn why it's awesome before we can go on the journey with them.

Remix? What you're hearing is the real song, it's not the full version but it's the real thing, no remix.

 

August 26th seems plausible to me!
One Day before the physical Signle arrives. Also not to much in distance to the album release.

Agree. I can't see the track having a different structure to the existing one

 

i think it has the potential of being real good when (hopefully) 2 minutes of the actual versus come in, i've heard this chorus over 100 times now....i overplayed it even before the single officially drops

An earlier version you could hear the guitar. Also lets see what comes out tomorrow. I'm still excited for this

 

Imagine there's a rapping aspect of the song that we haven't heard yet...now that would catch us off guard. Anyways,

I like the song. I do love the ending a lot more than the start of the song, however, the fact that it progresses in that way to the eventual climax is quite epic and special. The synth breakdown and overlapping guitar really takes the cake for me in this song. Obviously, things could have been better - every song does have that potential, this is still a strong release for LP that gives us a glimpse into what they were creating for the past few years.

It will be confirmed by word or observation today or tomorrow if this is the real deal. Speculate and evaluate, but I recommend you wait for tomorrow before you get attached/detached to the song.

No, that was about the prospect of a guitar solo and room for creativity in the demo "Iridescent" in the "Something New" LPTV episode.

The synth solo in this song is really awesome and tasty.

Look guys, there isn't going to be any additional things to this track. That means no rap, no guitar solo's and no extra verses. That's it guys!
Just be happy that we've finally got a new single. The Catalyst is great, listen to it and enjoy it.
