*This is a makeup post for 07/17. Due to time constraints yesterday, we were unable to post the daily spotlight for July 17th. This is the song we had intended to feature for 07/17.

June 17th's feature comes from SplitUpTheSun. With a very dream-like and atmospheric instrumental, SplitUpTheSun's remix combines several genres together that (in team member Luke's words) sounds like an elegant cross between The Cary Brothers and innerpartysystem.

Great work on the remix SplitUpTheSun! Join us in discussing this and other spotlighted clips on our forums!

I'm so impressed by The Catalyst in general. Any song that can be remixed in so many different ways is a good song! Good job LP!

Great remix! I could see this being on Reanimation 2 if that was to ever exist.
