XFM Give Impressions on New LP Album

I just remember hearing Chester saying how his voice hurt so bad from screaming on the album(lol in hindsight) and how MTM would be this great new sound( again, lol in hindsight).

 

Yeah man I don't recall all this random sampling on other LP releases. At least not like this. Where this music is being "guarded"

We already have that report from Bild a few days ago, as far as I know that's legit.
That and bands don't typically advertise the fact that they're sending around sample tracks of their next big release to magazines and radiostations.

So, yes, take it with a pinch of salt, but it's not at all unbelieveable and is most likely happening.

 

Anyone else find it weird that they were only allowed to hear 6 songs? Does that just mean they've only picked out six tracks that they are 100% sure will be on the album..?

 

Yeah, probably still narrowing down the track list.

 

Y'know, if all of these samplers have indeed been put out, why haven't we heard ANYTHING from the press yet?

I think Warner probably has a date set after which the media is allowed to comment on it, but it seems these samplers were sent a little while ago.

 

No, I don't think so. It's typical for bands to give radio stations, news sources, etc. a sampler of their album.

Not weird at all. Same happened with Metallica in '08, they previewed 6 (unfinnished) songs and 10 eventually made the album.

Well earlier this week Kerrangs tweet seemed to indicate they'd heard stuff, then we had BILD who came right out and said LP's manager had visited them with the new songs and now we have an XMF DJ saying he's heard it. So we've heard quite a bit actually, and will hear more stuff like this as the days go by.

The one thing that did concern me about this info from the English radiostation was that the DJ was talking about this cop.. An American cop all the way over in England? Sounds like a cheap action movie ( where the duck is Jackie Chan now?? ) or at least a jurisdictional problem (?)
