    Of course it doesn't, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that 5:00PM will be the announcement time (it makes sense somehow haha), but I doubt it. I also have this feeling that whatever announcement they do give, if any, will be underwhelming and we'll once again be left in the dark for another couple weeks to a month, if not longer. I want to be wrong about this, but I've been an LP fan too long to just think they'd out and say everything right away.

    I must be one of the only people who know how to multi-task. You know, do something else and check back here every 20 minutes or so. But then I also live at my computer so maybe that isn't fair.

    I left for a couple hours earlier, thinking the announcement would surely be up by the time I got back to my apartment, but alas! Haha! It's even more frustrating to leave for that long only to come back and check again only to be more disappointed. hahaha

    True. I did go and play hockey for like 3 hours and expected the announcement to be up when I got back. I can imagine the frustration of people who have been sitting down waiting all day.

    I would plan on sitting on LPA all day waiting for the next thread, so I can be the first person to make a Vuvuzela joke. But unfortunately i have an exam in a couple hours :/.

    Announcement is likely not coming tonight guys. I wouldn't wait around.

    Unless Mike pulls a Not Alone and posts about this at 12am EST. But I don't think that's gonna happen.

    I can confirm through research that they are indeed shooting a video and that Phoenix's pic wasn't just him at the zoo being an ass.

    I however cannot confirm when the announcement is coming out, what the hell the song is called, or when the album/single will be released unfortunately because I don't know any of that :/.

    Just heard the new Linkin Park album. It's awesome, you guys are gonna love it. It's just like John Cage's 4'33" but replacing silence with vuvuzela. MUSIC IS CHANGED FOREVER.

    Now is the time to gloat at the fact that I was right. =D

    Been a fan since '01 and this has been an expected thing since the Meteora cycle ended.
