Numb=Pop?

Numb pop?????? You have got to be kidding me. Numb is most definately not pop.

 

I must confess that I like Pop and all sorts of music, but Numb is definitely NOT pop. Kids like it coz they can relate to the song itself. I know I can relate to it very well.

 

People who like to classify songs like numb as pop, or even linkin park as pop, are just a bunch of morons who are jealous because their band doesn't get as much air play, and putting down the band that does is there only means of coping with it.

Having said that, who agrees it would be cool if LP's next album was 12 songs of rawer linkin park like one step closer and a place for my head?

It's not annoying. It's just... very... weird. You see a post with a huge bunch of "NO NO NO NO"'s and then an even larger "NUMB IS NOT POP!" is just an all our temper tantrum. It makes you look immature when you do something like that.

Yes, it is a bit of a pet-peve (is that how it is spelt? :wth for me, so being polite about it, I asked for it to stop .

Numb don't sounds like pop music...

 

Numb is not all Rock. In some of the parts, you can easly tell that it is not all rock. Compare Numb to Breaking the Habit or From the Inside. They are all similar in different ways but they are similar. Linkin Park has similar opening sounds to each song which makes the songs unique. That is what I like about this band!

 

yeah I know...those are the kinds of things that "urk" you...for one, if I remember correctly, Kryptonite made it on Kidz Bop 2 and that song is DEFINITELY not pop, so the reason why "In the End" made it on K.B, it's because it was an extremely popular song...that's why. Oh yeah and No, Numb isn't pop....sheesh. <_<

 

Couldn't have said it better myself. There's some people who are really quick to assume Linkin Park have gone soft or that they have gone pop just because they released ONE soft song.
