Okay so I'm getting married either at the end of this year in spring (it's 'The Fall' in USA) or next year, we're still not sure yet but already I've started to look on ebay for wedding dresses. I'm going to the registry office to get married and having a party afterwards, or so that's what is on the table at the moment. But every dress I look at, I want! So I've narrowed it down to a few. That means like five. I'm hoping to get married with my red and blonde hair. I'm 5"9 and weigh about 75 kgs (no joke got my figure back already). Numbered in order of preference. #1 Red & White #2 A More Traditional Bride's Dress #3 A Rouge-y Colour #4 Purple? #5 Light blue maybe? If anyone knows of a good online store that sells dresses (and most of these are technically deb dresses) whether it being bridal or deb, and takes paypal as payment, could you give me the link please? I'm willing to order internationally.
I'm with Sotrix on this one, definitely choice 2. Choice 1 is pretty good too, as the red isn't overpowering. Purple is my favourite colour, but for a wedding dress? It's not doing it for me. No offense at all, but the blue looks really tacky as a wedding dress! Haha, avoid the blue at all costs, haha.
I would stick with traditional too. I mean you don't want to look back on your wedding photos saying "what was I thinking"
IMO 1&3: You look like a princess instead of a bride. 4: Too Ms. Universe. 5: The style makes you look big & no no for the color blue, purple or even red. If you want to add color in your gown, you could play by putting a ribbon on your waist. But i guess, there is no need for it because the flower that you are bringing gives "life" to your gown. So, I'll go for choice #2. The style is simple yet classy & elegant. Cream or off-white color could be used instead of plain white. If you want more tips, go to wedding magazine online. I'm so happy for you. Really. I mean it's a great experience I guess just mainly walking in the aisle...so breathtaking. I'm excited for you!
I say go for number 2, the traditional one. Don't you have bridal shops in Australia? Going and trying dresses on is a better idea, at least to me. You might get it if you order it online and be totally unhappy with it, the sizing on bridal gowns is different, like when I got married I wore a size 4, but my dress was a 12.
I come from amall town and the only bridal shop here charges a minimum $500 if I order off ebay with all of my measurements I can get any of the above dresses max. $200
Well dresses could cost more. My sisters prom dress costed $500. I mean it's obviously up to you but I recommend, as well as everyone else I'm sure, to go to the bridal shop. Weddings are suppose to be expensive.
Wedding don't have to be expensive. Hell, I think it's better if they're not. Yeah, the dresses usually cost more but if she can get a great deal and get a cheapish dress, that's awesome.
I love all your choices! But I would stick with #2. I'm all for the traditional way of things.. you wanna stand out as a BRIDE not someone going to prom. Although I absolutely adore the purple one.. You say you're hair color will be red and blonde though, so there for I wouldn't go with the first dress it might be too much red. I do love the red in the back though and it still keeps it somewhat traditional. So I dunno.. it's a tough choice.
