I am seriously trying to make 2010 a really good year for myself. The last two years haven't gone my way and I am very determined to change all of that for the better for the new year. So, anyone have goals they wish to achieve? My list: -Land a job asap -Fix my sleep schedule -Lose some weight -Drive (my driving sucks, I need to practice more) -Help my mom/give her support w/ her issues -Become more independent -Save up more money -Possibly move out (questionable) - ...Get laid. lol. srsly.
For me: Lose a lot of weight. (Easier said than done unfortunately) Hopefully go back to work. Get my GPA back up, it really took a hit when I was injured last summer Try to escape from my fucked up relationship. (getting a job really would go a long way towards making that happen) Just to be happier then I was in 2009.
- Lose weight - Be more ambitious and proactive with my schoolwork - Find some happiness - Get into a good school (not up to me, unfortunately) - Save money - Find some more happiness
My biggest goal is to actually go to school sometime this year. The deadline for class signups are in 21 days, so I need to get on that. Other things.. Try to lose atleast 50lbs before Bonnaroo, finding a better job than my current one.. Everyone is harping on me to quit smoking (cigarettes), but I honestly don't see that happening, mainly because, well, I don't want to.
Get another Job. Discover more about God. Lose some (like 10) lbs of weight. Work harder on finding my major / keep well in school. Get a Car. Get a license. Learn how to make at least one or two food dishes. And a wish I made at 11:11 tonight that sometime this year.... ( Cant say, lol ) but i do hope it comes so true Purchase a firearm. bank in $4000. (into saving) Crossed out 2. Got my license and i can't afford a car.
Hmmm for me: 1) Go to the gym more often. I've been doing maybe once a week and I need to kick it up to at least 2x a week. 2) Find a job and start saving money 3) Get a car asap...I'll NEED one in September for community college 4) Try to be more laid back about certain things 5) Keep my relationship happy and smooth. No more crap like me and Josh had. Andrea: On your last bit, haha, I can understand that. I'm not currently having the same problem but I would be going craaazy if I were you.
Ok now for a serious list Goals 1) Get a job 2) Write alot more 3) Make more friends 4) Go to California at some point 5) Start a band and a few more
1. Finish school 2a. Do things on time 2b. Hold on to your schedule 3. Relax about more things, but remember that time flies 4. Be proud of the things you've done 5. Speak up for yourself
These are mostly fighting/training related but here goes: - Attend all classes Monday through Friday and Sunday afternoon. These classes are mostly BJJ (good), about 3 hours of MMA a week, an hour of takedowns and an hour and a half of Judo! This also includes 4 hours of open mat which is absolutely aweeeesome. - Eat healthier. I started Jan 1 with an egg for breakfast and tunafish with apple slices for lunch which makes me very hungry at the moment. - Compete in all tournaments possible. Now, there are 4 Grappler's Quest events in New Jersey, each roughly 3 hours away. There is a NAGA in Rhode Island and a Submission Only in Rochester. I really really want to compete in all of these events. - Work on my strength and conditioning. I have a gym membership which has seldom been used lately. I need to change that. - Save as much cash as possible in order to move out by Spring.

So I've been doing 2, 4, and 5 very well. Because I'm doing 2, I don't have time for 1 But oh well! And I've definitely become more laid back about things in general, and I'm keeping things in my life smooth and chill. It's good
