I think they rock and about that forum about Numb being a pop (N*SYNC pop... yuck!!!!) is just... WRONG! Can't Linkin Park write one soft song without people calling it pop? I mean, come on! It's Linkin Park we're talking about here! Anyway... Yeah, I think Linkin Park rules!!

I dunno um...LP, they just helped me through alot of sh*t. I used to cut myself...(and just stopped doing that 2 days ago). I listened to LP's song and I just decided to stop. They helped me, they understand me. There's nothing I like better than a band that understands

It should be called uh...I dunno. I think you should call it w/e you think it is. I dunno what it is either. It's just regular Linkin Park really, I think that's all I really need to say. But they're definently not pop that's for sure

 

I think Numb is the poppiest song ever, especially with all the choreography in it, and all the lip syncing..

I think Numb is a soft song, but it's not pop. BTH is closer to pop, but its still not quite pop. Mainly because the lyrics were written by the band, the lyrics actually have a meaning, and there is no choreography..

 

LP can never be pop. And this is why:

1) They write their own lyrics
2) They have actual insturments in their songs (not all synthesizer)
3) Theyre REAL PEOPLE
4) They PLAY their own instruments
5) They kick ass.

 

LP is LP . I agree with you DJ_Nate, Linkin Park actually do REAL music. And being real to me also means they write about the REAL things. Linkin Park rocks .

Well of course they're pop. Pop is short for popular.

 

what if they had real instuments just around and didnt play them? or had fake instruments and tried to play them

 

1. Alot of pop people write their own lyrics
2. ALOT have real instruments in their songs
3. Theyre not zombies....
4. Some play their own instruments
5. I like some pop

dont stereotype pop music. yeah, theres crap that fit into your 5, like nsync and the backstreet boys, but some are very talented....
