    Congratulations indeed. ^_^

When I first got into this band, "In The End" was all the rage, but, still, I never imagined how amazingly and consistently well they'd do in the nine or ten years that would follow. It's been a great decade. :)

Btw, the next decade starts on January 1st 2011, so better save this for the end of the next year...

Wrong. Next decade DOES start January 1st 2010 since a decade is 10 years and this decade started in the year 2000 which has been 10 years. According to your logic 1980 wasn't considered the 80s until 1981, 1990 was still a part of the 80s until 1991 and so on.

    2000 to 2009 = 10 years = 1 Decade

I do know that in different countries, the way dates/years are handled can sometimes be a little different (example, some European countries put the day before the month etc)...but the way decades are determined here in the US are any time where 10 years have passed, or where the last digit starts back at 0. Example:

    1900-1910
    1910-1920
    1920-1930

    etc

Those are all decades. So although it may be different where you are, 2009 IS the end of this decade. At least in America.

Achieving what they did is huge so who cares if it's in nine or ten years.

Wow, I just checked on wiki and learned that some people really do count the decades that way. I guess you learn something new every day... But yeah, never mind that, congrats to LP.

Incredible!!! Completely deserved, in my opinion! :) All of this recent recognition has got to be making them realize just how much of an impact they've had and lots of strength to keep making amazing music!

    Thaanks.

   *snap...snapsnap*

I'm hoping all this news of them getting number one in all these categories will cause their sales to increase. It seems like you never hear praise for them, really... mostly about them being a cliché nu-metal teen angst pop rock band. Woo!
