Just wondering what everybody wanted for Christmas this year. Me? I just want home stuff like non-stick frying pans and good cutlery etc.
I think it's funny that people 18 and over still make Christmas lists, or even get told to. Get a job and buy your own crap, IMO. Not speaking to anyone specifically in this thread, just sayin' my last Christmas for me was when I was 17. After that I was pretty much cut off. I've gotten some things here and there, but otherwise I never asked for anything and just bought what I wanted. Sorry, rant off. It's just one of my peeves.
Same thing goes for me, the only thing I got ever since I became 18 was a bit of chocolate. I dont mind either, I can buy my own stuff and save my parents money. Secondly, I hate parents who spend loads of money on christmas every year, Im talking about gifts > €250, which are just playthings (usefull stuff for school etc is a diff story). How the hell can you raise a kid to be able to see the true value of money when you give him big presents every year? /rant
I got told to write a Christmas list this year, and I'm 20. Then again, my list consisted of like, 3 CDs that I've been thinking of buying. The Dear Hunter ftw
I want peace and happiness within my family and the Spongebob Squarepants First 100 Episodes DVD. Seriously.
for the first time in my life i didn't write a wishlist or even mentioned a wish except for having nice christmas with my family... ...and i'm 24 seriously, what the hell is wrong with loving the whole christmas thing? i love to have presents under the tree and i still follow the same ritual as i did when i was 7. people should really stop to forget their inner child. apart from that i agree that it is not the best thing for parents to spend big money for presents. but there is nothing wrong by having christmas wishes and writing them down at all.
I just want to be happy for Christmas. There's nothing materialistic that I want. I just want to be happy. I don't want there to be something that ruins my day, I want to find some resolve.
