Chester's did the track amazingly. Chester said before the performance that Out of Ashes sold over 1 billion...BILLION...albums on iTunes.

    The performance was outstanding.

I thought he was being sarcastic about the sales.

    ^ Crawl Back In.

He was a little off with the first "I wanna crawl back in", but the rest of the performance totally made up for it. Amazing.

Er, no, I think he said million. Thriller is the best selling album and that's only at 110 million.

When Chester dies are you going to find it funny with people posting pictures making fun of him and his children? Get over the immature internet meme cliché late-night talk show American bullshit, huh? You're not funny and it's not 'WIN'.

Disrespecting the dead, especially a respected inspiration to millions of people, is obnoxious and offensive, and I think you guys need to grow up just a tad and take a look at your manners.

For the record, my posting of images of Michael Jackson wasn't to mock him. If you saw the 5 foot tall cardboard Michael Jackson suspended up on my wall right now, as well as the poster I have, the numerous cassette tapes I bought of his over the years (30+) and my old childhood "Bad" sweater that I can no longer fit in but kept for nostalgia, you'd see that Michael Jackson is one of my biggest musical inspirations. My postings in there were lighthearted and not mean spirited. Even the zombie Mike comment was meant as a tribute to his amazing Thriller video. A video that to this day is still culturally significant, and visually impressive.

Did I agree with the posting of a screencap from South Park's factually inaccurate and utterly tasteless (evidence proves he never molested anyone) Michael Jackson episode or the baby dangling picture? No. But I'm also not going to throw anybody under the bus here, because much like everywhere else on the internet: Freedom of speech exists on these boards.

If you will search for the MJ Death thread I specifically asked all tasteless comments to be excluded from that thread. So I am "grown up", I do have "manners" and I do know when to respect the dead.

I can't sway everyone's opinion, and I can certainly delete the offending posts in this thread (no problem) but again, if you feel I am a MJ hater than you are sorely, and very sadly mistaken.

I don't feel you are, and I wasn't necessarily assuming anybody wasn't a fan of Michael Jackson's music, I was more offended by the 'Pre-Female', 'Pre-Caucasian' and 'WIN' comments. I didn't find it funny, and I didn't take huge offense, but ridiculous nonsense like that is all over the net nowadays and I find it really old and unwanted so I said what I felt.

The offending pictures have been removed. I can see why this would offend a Michael Jackson fan (being one myself) and therefore I have removed all posts, including my own.

Andrea, the performance is actually spectacular, in my opinion. Amazing for a David Letterman performance. Lots of energy and sounded perfect.
