CONFIRMED: LPU 9 CD To Feature Unreleased Band Demos, and New Song

    Straight from the official LPU newsletter (available only to paid LPU members), the following information has been revealed about the upcoming LPU9 package. Per the newsletter, the new package will contain the following:


    • 9 Song CD featuring previously unreleased demos from Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes To Midnight as well as a BRAND NEW Linkin Park song not heard before this CD.
    • LPU 9 T-Shirt
    • LPU 9 Patch
    • LPU 9 Guitar pick
    • And much more...
    Also for the first time ever in LPU history, the "Premier Pass" will feature a LPU Vinyl*, a gift never previously offered in past years of LPU and available only to members who purchase the premium pass.

    We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

    *Vinyl features same content as CD.

    Hopefully we'll get to hear the Mike version of LOATR, but who knows.

    This is the singular best news I've heard for a while.

    I also wan't to hear Mike's LOATR, and also the version of Figure 09 with the singing choruses.

    I'd prefer if they were new ones we don't even know of though.

    Looks like Mike felt bad about the (extremely undeserving) negative reactions he got last year and wanted to make it up. Can't wait!

    P.S. What's this Mike LOATR people are talking about?

    Mike sung most of the MTM songs first as he was writing them, and then Chester re-recorded them. There was a demo shown in the making of where Mike was singing it, people wanna hear the finished version with Mike's vocals.
