    After reading Next it really got me thinking about this,

    That book was creepy.

    I know I'm against the idea, it limits research with all the red tape.

    It sounds so ridiculous. Patenting genes???

    This is to help sick people. It shouldn't be about petty things such as who can use what because I found it first!

    Okay, say geneticist find a gene that may mean you have a chance of being "Emotional" "Rebelious" or what ever, one that may help cure disease or may cause disease. They can patent that gene and basically say they invented it.
