    Well when you get the shaft from the music industry continually like she has it's not unexpected for her to want to quit. She's been screwed over ever since she first signed a major label deal.

    yeah man, what makes it even sadder is the fact that she's actually very talented and she doesn't get her big shot!

    she previously updated her twitter saying she's working on an album. i wonder what's gonna happen with that now. :ermm:

    My view is that Holly Brook should have been more careful about the contracts she was signing. Nothing comes for free.

    True, but also Warner Brothers were made of absolute fail when it came to their promotion of the album (read: nonexistent).

    Apparentely this was a problem that happened a lot (WB not putting enough into Machine Shop artists) and it's why Machine Shop is now temporarily defunct.

    Warner are awful at promoting fairly underground talent though. They're too busy bumming up to bands like Green Day.

    No kidding, I was watching the X-Games and the only songs they played were Green Day

    I'm not kidding, not ONCE did they play ANYTHING other than Green Day. It got to a point where I was like "Come the fuck on, seriously?"

    Warner always seem to release about half of each album as singles, when it comes to their bigger bands.
