    ...according to Kerrang! readers.
I thought it was kind of a strange list.

    What a total mindfuck.

Kerrang! hasn't found out about indie yet.

It's not a magazine that covers indie for the vast part, so I guess their readers aren't liable to vote for that sort of music. There are a lot of legit albums on this list that publications who focus on indie would likely ignore, so it's probably fair.

and the albums in the list that actually deserve to be there (though most of them repositioned):
Edit: and just to clarify, I'm not bashing on the bands that I missed out (though admittedly there are a few I really don't like) because I am quite a fan of most of the albums, I just didn't think they deserved a place there.

I agree with a lot of the list, although for Muse, they have the albums in reverse order. Also pretty surprised no Killers album made it.

Agree with #1 for sure though.

A lot of those albums weren't even the best by the band in this century. A few good albums on there though.

Of course, any list is biased. Just thought it was remarkable, most lists would probably include some Radiohead, etc.

Yeah. And Crisis isn't Alexisonfire's best album, Puzzle isn't Biffy Clyro's best, and The Green Album isn't the best Weezer release from this decade, as well as one or two other choices along similar lines.

Although, in fairness, they picked the best Converge album, the best Dillinger Escape Plan album, the best FOB album, and the best QOTSA album among others. That's why I thought it was a strange list - because in my opinion there's almost an even mix of albums that either aren't very good or unrepresentative of the artist's best work, and albums that are the opposite of either.

I thought Calculating Infinity was Dillinger Escape Plan's most critically acclaimed album. But that was released last decade.

It's based on reader's votes though right? So a lot of the voter's opinion's might of been a little... wrong

I see Lostprophets and Queens of the Stone Age on there, with relatively high spots, which I agree with. I also like seeing Paramore and Linkin Park on the list, and definitely agree with the #1 being American Idiot. That said, I still think 21st Century Breakdown should be higher up.
