    You can check out a short promo video for the new Dead by Sunrise album Out of Ashes, debuting this fall, over at the official LP youtube page. The clip showcases a montage of clips from a possible making of the album. It also appears that the clip features the first US single from the album "Crawl Back In".

    ..huh. Not too sure what to make of that. Granted, it was 15 seconds, but still.

    I got a Slither from Velvet Revolver feel from it.

    Honestly, not to diss Chester but I think this album is beginning to sound more like his influences, than his own sound. I'll still love it, but it doesn't sound original.

    15 seconds, hard to judge. And really...I don't think it fair to say it sounds more like his influences than his own sound...LP is one part of Chester's sound, this can just be another part. If he sounded much like LP, people would be saying "why bother"...if he sounds too different, people will say this isn't his sound.

    This may or may not be a good CD, but I'm pretty excited and hope Chester can impress despite the cache 22.

    My thoughts exactly. Hopefully the album offers more gems such as 'Walking In Circles' though.

    They should've let the "HEY!" part out of it. It sounds really good though.

    Not bad. This sounds a little more like what I'd expected DBS to sound like.

    I'd forgotten about that song, but, now that you mention it ... I really liked "Walking In Circles". Behind the terrible quality of the Club Tattoo rips, I heard something that made me excited for the Dead By Sunrise album. :)

    i see where you're coming from. i felt the same way when i heard another song in that live performance they did (can't remember the name).

    but this one sounds great to me. excited!

    This song sounds a lot like his old band Grey Daze, which is good to me because i love em ^^

    Im not gunna start judging a whole album.. with just a 17 clip from ONE song.
    Ill wait to until fall to start making judgements :)

    I think that alot of people are expecting too much of a linkin park style to come from DBS. I think the snippet so far sounds awesome! i cant wait to hear the rest of the track. theres some more recent live recordings popping up on youtube too, not sure if anybody has checked them out yet?....sounds like its gonna be a monster of an album...dunno about anybody else but im very excited for the release!
