Believe it or not, there are still people out there who haven't heard Muse. To cure this travesty I am making a compilation, of about 16-18 Muse tracks and I need to know which ones to include, as well as what (suggested) order. No matter what I think Knights of Cydonia should be the last song. Otherwise, have fun. I need this by today too.
Plug In Baby, Hysteria, Time Is Running Out, Map Of Your Head, New Born, Starlight. For someone who is only just getting into Muse I'd more or less just recommend the singles, especially from the 'Origin...' and 'Absolution' era.
im not the biggest muse fan, but "time is running out" is one of my all time favourite songs, so i think you should include that one!
Oh I'm definitely including the singles. Infact I'm sort of thinking Plug In Baby should be the starting song...because that riff is just amazing.

Yes. I've often seen them compared to/accused of imitating Rush, as well as Radiohead and Marillion. Because high-pitched vocals and bombastic instrumentation = Rush.
