    thanks ^
yes, actually one of my good friends won the SV contest and she is allowed one guest, and I am that lucky one.

A Limo is coming for me in the morning. LOL.

I just got news that they are going to be rehearsing songs in the studio for their upcoming tour.
I don't have any further details on that. and I guess Fuse Tv does a making the album special every time they have a new one coming out...

I will be sure to write a little report and get you guys some pics etc.

I thought Machine Shop is on hiatus due to the fact that the guys are really getting along with Warner

    Hmm...questions...

    1) Will there be more rapping on this album compared to MtM? Based off of the tracks they have right now, of course.
    2) Will Mike be doing any singing lead vocals? Maybe Chester and him switch off on lead vocals in a song?
    3) Will Chester's DBS side-project and recent Julien-K collaborations have any influence on the album?
    4) Will No Roads Left ever be performed live?
    5) Will Phoenix have any prominent bassy songs? I'd love for him to get in the spotlight more.
    6) Will Joe have a more prominent presence on this album? (I can already see the answer to this be something like..."Joe has a prominent presence on every album, he just does things that are sonically different on each record." The guys really love that word 'sonic')
    7) Will there be an All-Joe screaming track?

*shrugs* You obviously don't have to ask any of these, they're just suggestions.

Hi guys, the whole experience was great. The guys are really nice/down to earth..
I didn't get that much info (about the new album) that you guys didn't already know cause they didn't want to give anything big away..
Here is what I got from chatting with them for a little..
along w/ other things I saw...I will update with pics and anything else I remember
    when I have more time.

    1. album is a little more than 50% done, somewhere close to 60%

    2. Haven't done vocals for new album yet

    3. Definitely going to incorporate more rapping from Mike.
They are writing what THEY want to write, not another Hybrid Theory

    4. album will be out march/april 2010
"dont want to overshadow Chester's DBS album due out in Sept."

    5. experimental sound. very different. nothing like other 3 albums.
"very difficult" achieving this new sound they want

    6. executive producer/producer not named yet.

    7. They made New Divide sound "mainstream" "more commercial"

    8. New album will NOT sound commercial at all.

    9. I was telling Phoenix about how LPA felt about m2m as opposed to hybrid theory

    10. I was the first one to hear New Divide Live. lol.

    11. Bret Michaels and Poison were also in the same building in another studio
also RnB group En Vogue. lol.

    12. Mike pulled up in black range rover, joe drove a bmw six series, there was also another black series, I think It was Chesters,

    13. they played 5-6 older songs in front of us, Chesters vocals stood out. Looks like he was giving it 100% which was amazing.

Glad you had such a great time, but this above worries me. I actually have somewhat of a knot in my stomach, lol. You can't really speak for the entire website on that since everyone on here has different opinions about M2M. So I am hoping you didn't say anything too negative.

Thank you for sharing. That has actually made me anticipate the album that little bit more, although I don't know if it should haha.

Yeah that worries me a bit, but hopefully whatever he said was neutral. Maybe that the fans kind of missed Mike's "Fort Minor" presence on the album, but that they appreciated the bold steps the band took with their new sound and liked their attempts to be experimental.

Cause that's the general consensus I get.

Also...whatever he said, it's a mention of the site around the band..which means they'll probably be reading the boards tonight to see what we have to say about the new album and what we want from it.

    And:

They didn't want to write Hybrid Theory like that?
