I met them at Projekt Revolution 2007 and they are SUPER nice, the signing line was amazing, people were going behind the table and hugging em and they were laughing at all the drunk people's jokes and stuff, so cool.

My ex-boyfriend could play the whole song over and over again with no mistakes. It was really sweet.

That's def one of my favorite songs ever. It's brilliant.

 

I'm really close to getting it, but the solo and that little part right after the intro, with the hammer on and pull off section always gets me.

What the fuck is the point in watching sports on TV? And why are we, as a country, so fucking obsessed with sports? I mean really, you're not getting anything out of it, other than the satisfaction that someone else can run around and throw/kick/hit a ball, or swim, or whatever. You're not getting exercise, you're not actually participating in the sport... why bother?

Which brings me to my next question: why do athletes get paid more than people who spend their time saving peoples lives do? Police officers, EMTs, doctors (I'm not talking plastic surgeons or anything), all that... they get paid utter shite, and their job is to make sure we're okay. How fucked up is it that the people that keep us safe/healthy get paid less than some oaf who runs around with a ball all day?


Okay, if I offended anyone with that outburst, I'm sorry, but I had to get that off my chest.

You know, I'll totally do that. I just need to spend a few days practicing those parts.

I wanted to go see them once, but I couldn't afford the tickets.

I totally agree. Its completely ridiculous. Even though, I do enjoy watching hockey. Nothing is cooler then having seats right on the barrier, and having the players slamming up against it less then 2 feet away.

 

I tried to find that when I was in Ohio, because someone recommended it to me after I made a similar outburst, but I couldn't. I'll try again, but I dunno how much luck I'll have. Maybe it's just that Ohio bookstores are lame.

I will admit, that is kinda cool. But there's a difference between watching it on TV and watching it in person, am I right?
