I know, she is so excited. One of her classmates got one, and three days later it had 10 babies. So we are getting one of them.

 

I did mean it in a positive-ish way, but it's a one-time thing. You shouldn't get used to it.

That's kind of sad. Though, When I was getting mine, the owner told me that she needs to separate them as soon as possible otherwise they'll start hurting one another. *shrug* Well, good luck, anyways. =]

 

yeah, they told us that too, that they usually do that, but so far they haven't been fighting or anything.

 

...I know someone who left their hamsters (male and female) with their Grandmother for a week, and said Granny forgot to feed them, and when this person got back, the male had eaten the female.
