I probably should buy my BMTH ticket. Even though it probably won't sell out due to the fact it's over age. I'm sure all the little Oli Sykes teenies are devastated. Awwww.

The people who are falling for Charles Trippy's "I robbed a bank of 400 million dollars" story are idiots. If a bank was robbed of 400 million dollars, it'd be all over national news, and there'd be a huge manhunt for him. He wouldn't be able to "keep us up to date" using Twitter, and he certainly wouldn't be using the Internet on his MacBook Pro. He's doing it for a "new mini series" that he even announced back in January. All the money he actually has is probably his OWN money.

yeah I saw that a while back. The best part is they actually look like in the gigs too.

 

It's funny because they actually do operate like that at shows. Whenever a remotely hardcore-oriented band comes on a load of people appear out of nowhere and start to hardcore dance, then disappear into thin air when the set is finished. They're like ninjas who are really inept at punching and kicking

 

I've never thought of it that way.

 

I was at a show where the hardcore dancers were vastly outnumbered by "pushers," which is what the brutal hardcore kids call people who like to mosh. This one band was up and was encouraging people to "dance" (and I fail to see how it's dancing), and when my friends and I got up near the front and started "pushing," the singer jumped down and got in my buddy's face and started screaming, "NO PUSHING!!!" It was ridiculous, so more and more moshers started getting in the way of all the dancers, and there ended up being a fight between this little douche bag hardcore kid and a huge "pusher," and the little kid got stomped. The best part was the security guard throwing the band off stage and throwing most of the hardcore dancers out for "inciting a riot."

 

I want to listen to Death To Analog, but I don't really want to.

When Cancer Bats were supporting FFAF last October I was going to join in with the hardcore dancers for a laugh, but for some reason they had this guy who looked exactly like Lars from Rancid with them and he completely psyched me out of doing anything.

 

Holy fucking moly, I'm never going to remember all of that.

Every time I hear the name or see Oli Sykes, I always think they are talking about Oli Williams from Family Guy and i'm like..he sings?

 

I should hope not!

Either his or his dad's. He probably has a ton too, being the a former member of The Allman Brothers band.
