    are you downloading the song too fast...ive had the same problem before...i was downloading mobscene by marilyn manson...and it was downloading at 600kb/sec....i was listening to the song and there were parts that just sounded like screeching....

    That was a really long time ago. I've already gotton the song from someone.

    But yea, those screeching sounds are done by the record company(most likely) so that people get annoyed and just buy the album instead of downloading it.

    I thought it was because the song isn't supposed to be ripped, so the screeching noises is some effect to ripping it?
