Limp ftw, music from them is better than no music from them IMO, even though plenty of people will disagree.
Am I the only one who fears for their life because of this? I mean, I'll be honest, I used to be into Blink. But then I became disillusioned. I discovered Fred Durst. I mean as long as he can keep his vocals to a minimum, I guess it's fine.
Guitarist Wes Borland — who has never been known to make contradictory statements in interviews and via his online postings — recorded a short video message last night (Friday, February 13) for the LIMP BIZKIT fan site The Armpit in which he confirmed that he will, in fact, take part in the recording sessions for a new LIMP BIZKIT album. "We are definitely back together," he can be heard saying in the clip, which is available for viewing below. "For all the non-believers, there is a new album, new tour, it's all going to happen. It's going to go off..." Bob Suehs of Rock N Roll Experience reported on his web site on Friday that Wes told him one day earlier about his involvement with the reunited LIMP BIZKIT, "I'm only doing the overseas shows with them as of right now, and as far as the new record, with those guys, don't believe it until you see it. As of right now, there's nothing happening; I'm only doing the shows overseas with them and we'll see what happens." Suehs tells BLABBERMOUTH.NET, "I spoke to Wes after his [February 12 performance in Towson, Maryland with his new band BLACK LIGHT BURNS]. He came over and hung out at his merch table and [those were] his EXACT words to me; there's no, 'maybe he said that.' I state my personal name on that quote and I'd take a lie detector test to prove I'm right." Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto and DJ Lethal announced on Thursday, February 12 via a press release that they were reuniting for a tour and new CD. The original lineup of LIMP BIZKIT was last active in the fall of 2001, after which Borland left the band to focus on his own music. Borland rejoined for the 2005 EP "The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1)", but left again shortly thereafter.
Didn't he join Manson saying that his Limp Bizkit days were a mistake and the music was more or less garbage?
+1 Sell out, with me oh yeah, sell out, with me tonight The record company's gonna give me lots of money And everything's gonna be all right
It's obvious he's not doing this without some sort of financial persuasion but to be honest I'm just glad the original lineup is back. They were my first favourite band and they'll always hold a special place in my heart for being the main band that got me into rock music back when I was 10.
i totally agree. in limp bizkit's case we all know it's just for the money. but i would bet there are quite a few more bands out there, which aren't together for the love of music. as long as i get a great live performance, i'll be pleased anyway
