I'd heard about this last night before I'd gone to bed, but I thought it was just a random gunman who shot up a restaurant or something like that. I didn't realize it was a full-scale terrorist attack, since I didn't pay much attention to the TV at the time (I was really tired). It's a shame, though, that things like this are still happening. It's absolutely ridiculous.
I have two friends in Mumbai. This is really shocking to say the least. The both thankfully live in the Northern parts of Mumbai. I really hope the situation calms down soon.
And the only thing French and other European tv channels and radios find to say is how many Europeans died in the bombings. They're shocked by the death of five Europeans but they don't give a damn about all the Indian people who died. Fuckers.
Yeah, some have said that it seems tourists were being targetted, but aside from the locations it seems to have been pretty indiscriminate with many more Indians being victims.
Well that actually always happens, but really can't blame the media too much here, since the main concerns of the European people are their own citizens, right?
Shit like this is what's gonna start World War 3... Once India and Pakistan start blowing the shit out of each other, the rest of the world will probably follow... I hate people.
It's the same over here, where, among so many deaths, it's the deaths of a few Australian businessmen which are given the most attention.
I'm Indian. It's happening in my own country. Things like this make me mad. Luckily I'm not from Bombay but it still hurts me to see stuff like this.
