If it's any hope for Obama-Fans. http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Final_Gallup_poll_gives_Obama_widest_1102.html Obama has widest favorability since 1992.
R.I.P. As a side note: If you want to see some real stupidity from both sides of the political spectrum, go to the Election Day Event wall on Facebook. Those people are real winners. I am actually scared that these people are voting. I have only seen about 4 or 5 people out of the 100 that are posting that actually know what they are talking about. One person even said not to vote for Obama because he wasnt born in the US and wasnt a citizen.
It's funny how every 10 posts or so you seem to get someone saying something to the effect of "I'm not voting for *insert candidate* because they're a shapeshifting alien Muslim extremist freemason"
That last bit was actually a legitimate question. He was asked something about his citizenship and he refused to answer the question, which was kind of sketchy. And may she rest in peace. So sad.
Thanks for answering Jen, good choice. I like how the ads on the site were "Who's more likely to cheat? Obama or McCain? CLICK HERE!" And what a shame about his grandmother. At least she would've known he's probably going to win..
Yeah. He wouldn't be allowed to hold an office in the U.S. government if he wasn't a citizen. Anyone telling you he's not a citizen is poorly misinformed, or just a complete, raging jackass.
this is another one of those get out and vote celebrity commercials, but it is really funny at times. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/serv...30.wvvote_psa1030/VideoStory/VideoLineup/Pick I especially love Borat. Justin Timberlake too, "I can do anything, I was in a boy band."
Well when I wake up tomorrow afternoon (my time) I hope to hear that Obama will be president of Earth... lol
Generally, official and unofficial results tend to be the same thing. If one candidate feels he has no chance of winning the election, he can concede defeat to the other candidate, meaning he has essentially "dropped out" of the running for office. This usually happens around 11 PM EST, so long as there aren't any major hangups as far as vote counting is concerned. As far as the accuracy of the vote counts, the past two elections have been recounted several times, because voting machines have been screwed up, or because people are too stupid to realize when a vote is a vote. (I'm referring to the "hanging chad" scandals from 2000, when people were too stupid to realize that if someone punches a hole in "Candidate A," that's who they're voting for, regardless whether the tiny piece of paper (the "chad") actually was fully removed from the page or not.) So barring any vote counting hangups, we should know between 11 PM and midnight EST.
