I feel like Linkin Park touring with Coheed and Cambria for a lil' while could've had some sort of influence over this. Coheed's albums are all one story, which I always thought was pretty cool even though I listen to Coheed mainly because it's some kick butt music.

 

Maybe LP are making songs which have no chorus, like Jesus of Suburbia by GD, but then that Mike is doing a long rap part, then a lil sing of Chester, an other rap part of Mike, then a long sang from Chester and a big scream part and maybe guitar solo's and scratching from Joe and after screams from Chester and a some rap from Mike

 

And theeeeeen?

 

Funk bass solo, obviously.

 

Cowbell solo you mean. Or maybe some kind of cowbell/bass break played in some messed up time signature.

 

It'll actually feature cowbell in 11/6, and triangle in 14/9.

And actually, the bass will probably just follow the guitar...

At least Phi steped out the box a bit on MTM. Hopefully he'll continue to improve in the next album.

 

You can hear the bass during a good deal of Hybrid Theory and MTM basically.

 

I hope it'll be louder though in their next album!!!

 

Maybe Phi does more singing on the new album XD
