Anyone here use one or know of someone that uses one? For many years I've been intrigued by them from commercials and now I'm thinking about buying one. I've heard that it cleans teeth more thoroughly than a regular toothbrush so that's why I'm interested.

Own one? Experiences? Do tell, please. :)

Go ahead and buy one, it's definitely well worth it. I bought one after my last dentist checkup, and it definitely cleans your mouth a lot more than standard brushing will do. Especially when you use Listerine occasionally or supplement it with flossing.

For the 8-10(?) dollars they cost you it's certainly worth the purchase. You just have to make sure you replace the batteries occasionally.

I got one when I first got my braces and I've used one ever since. They're great.

My mom's been using one for a while now, so I guess it's quite good. But I must mention that her first one stopped working after a few weeks of use.

I use an electric toothbrush. It's awesome. I would definitely recommend buying one. Braun's good.

I use one, but only because if I don't, my gums get sore and bleed and shit...

If I had the choice, I'd be using a normal one.
But I think mine might be a shitty design, it's a Braun, and it leaks toothpaste everywhere while you're trying to brush... lol

I gave it some thought and I ordered an Oral B Vitality Precision Clean Power Toothbrush yesterday off of amazon.com, since I'm too lazy to go to the local store and buy one myself, lol. It's a Braun so I am hoping the toothpaste leakage isn't too bad. It should be here sometime early next week. I actually can't wait to use it. :)

You shouldn't have to worry about toothpaste leakage. Mine works much like a normal toothbrush. You still put the toothpaste over the bristles, it's just now the bristles spin/move so you get a deeper clean.

Problem with mine, is that is has little slits near the head, I'm not sure why, and the toothpaste runs down the inside of it, and then all over my hands. It's a pain

Oh...well in terms of that, yes I have that problem sometimes but it all really depends on how you hold the toothbrush. If it's mostly vertical or diagonal that will happen a lot.

Yeah I've taken to trying to hold it like, up in the air... Which I imagine looks stupid, but oh well

    What's a toothbrush?

But in all seriousness, I use a combination of both. I tend to be a bit more thorough when I'm using a regular toothbrush, and it's easier to do some things with one than with the other.

I just finished brushing my teeth with it and wow, I can already tell a difference. My teeth feel much cleaner than usual. The vibrating sensation was a little weird on my teeth but it definitely gets the job done. Money well spent! :D
