As the year is drawing in with only a few months left to go before the start of 2009 I was reflecting on all the games that have come out a while back and I've started this somewhere else and got loads of feedback, and was thinking to myself what a great year for gamers with all these huge titles that have come out and are coming out.
    The games:
    Metal Gear Solid 4
    Super Smash Bros Brawl
    Dynasty Warriors 6
    Rainbow six Vegas 2
    Lost Odyssey
    Grand Theft Auto IV
    Burnout Paradise
    Call Of Duty 4
    Spore
    Frontlines: Fuels of war
    Soul Caliber IV
    Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
    Dead space
    Pure

And certainly many more I've forgotten or can't think of at this time. If I've forgotten a game just reply and tell me which so I can add it.

Then there's going to be even more titles coming out soon like:
Diablo III (probably next year though)
    Left 4 Dead
    Fable 2
    Gears of War 2
Saints Row 2 (Even though that came out today in the UK)
And tonnes more, yes the list is primarily 360 based, I don't have a PS3 so I don't pay attention to releases, but if someone wants to fill me in on a few PS3 upcoming titles then let me know.

One hell of an expensive year, but a great one at that, a year to be remembered by gamers. Hopefully next year there can be as many great titles, but hopefully they will just give all the games for free... Guess we can dream...

So within the next two months I'm needing to buy:
    Fable 2
    Gears of War 2
    Left4Dead
    Xbox Live membership (12 months)
So about £165 in less than two months. o_o

What are you having to buy?

You forgot those games with Holly Wiloughby and Fearne Cotton in the adverts, they look amazing. ;)

Out of all the games you mentioned, the only one I'd considered buying was Spore, but after playing it for a collective total of about 20 hours, I decided it wouldn't be worth it. It's easily the most boring game ever created. For as much substance as it's got, it's got no substance, if that makes any sense.

I'm saving my money for the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic MMORPG that's coming out next year. That'll occupy 98% of my time, I guarantee it.
