    From mikeshinoda.com:

Hey everyone. I'm happy to announce that we are putting together a new live CD/DVD for you guys! We recorded the show at Milton Keynes (Projekt Rev, UK), and we will be releasing it in a DVD/CD combo pack as soon as we can get it done.

However, we're having trouble naming the album...so we want you to name it!

Please help out by spreading the word. We want as many fans as possible to go to THIS THREAD on the linkinpark.com message boards, and pitch in on the discussion. After we get some titles we like, we'll put them up for everyone to vote on.

Please help us name the new live CD/DVD!

    -mike and LP

Would that set induce as much moshing as "Live in Texas"?

take it for what it is: linkin park's greatest hits album.
honestly, they've played EVERY single (even collision course's). except for wake 2.0, lying from you, little things, pma piano and no more sorrow there are singles everywhere. they even put "from the inside" in an untypical place just for that show, they cut "reading my eyes" just for that show! i had the theory about this dvd being the greatest hits album from the start when it was announced it was a dvd shot back in july.
i prefer that one over a simple songs collection all the way, but it sucks hard that they didn't take an indoor show with a better set and some surprises.
let's just pray we will get some nice bonus stuff, that would be the least they could do for hiding b-sides and rare stuff forever...

Like I've said before, I think the set they had around the time of "Live in Texas" was much more energetic than 2007's one. They did switch it up a bit with the inclusion of "With You" and all those other old-school "Hybrid Theory" songs but that wasn't the case for Milton Keynes.

But, whatever. Whatever's there will make a good DVD.

I just hope that they present it in a nice way. Although the sound on LIT was good, I didn't like the video editing at all. It sucked so bad.

But anyway, the MK set list isn't so great. MSG would definitely have made a better show for a DVD.

One thing that favors MK for a DVD is that setting and the aesthetics of the place. The same place where Green Day's Bullet In a Bible was recorded. Other than that, it all depends on how they mix it and present it.

I'm hoping for some bonus songs and Easter Eggs. Also some back stage footage would be awesome.

Since they dropped Reading My Eyes for MK, it'd be cool if they had an easter egg of them playing it at one of the other Europe shows.

I'm completely in for that. I hope they do that.

Does anyone here think that there'd be a special edition for this DVD? As far as I know, there's normally no special editions for Live DVDs....or are there?

There are 4 different editions of David Gilmour's new Live at Gdansk CD/DVD, ranging from 2 to 5 discs, plus a vinyl version and an iTunes version.

    Yeah. Just saw it here.

Jeeeez...but I don't think LP would do this, would they? If they would, then the ultimate version would be really expensive.

They had "High Road" over POA in Paris. I preferred that version.

I dunno why, but Chester isn't singing very well these days. He always sounds kinda off.....or probably it's just the audio...
