... what? My list: "Passenger" by Deftones "Somewhat Damaged" by Nine Inch Nails And that's about it.
from the list, i'd go with somethin by either metallica or nickelback .. though that does not mean it's "the" best song for'em to cover .. there are way cooler songs for that ..
Ouch. In all seriousness, Pantera's Walk. Though as with most potential LP cover songs, it comes down to Brad.
They probably could do Walk. The riff, bassline and drumbeat are relatively easy to play, and Chester would probably do pretty well with it on his day. I forget what the solo's like being as I haven't heard it for a while though. Chester is apparently a fan of Phil Anselmo's bands so who knows, it may actually happen at some point. On the other hand, I have this mental image of Pantera fans forming a convoy of pick ups and heading down to LA, hanging out of the windows with pitchforks and confederate flags, regardless of how well they'd actually do it. I'm surprised Keith Buckley, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley are still alive after their cover.
... no... Anthem of Year 2000 - Silverchair Pure Morning - Placebo Zero - The Smashing Pumpkins (Evanescence has proved themselves unworthy of doing covers since they covered this song) For the soul purpose in seeing if they can cover a good song and not manage to ruin it.
Creep or anything by Stone Temple Pilots, Chester loves them it would be really fun or any Tool/APC song.
Good one I reckon Freak for silverchair or if they feel adventurous Across The Night or The greatest View
I can just imagine them ruining Freak Show, The Greatest View, Israeli's Son and of course, Tomorrow.
