Sailing slowly to the sunset Our vessel takes shape of a casket The sky is overcast at once The sea is asking for a dance Our sight is getting blurry And the air, it smells of fury Tear the sails and raise the flag There's no way forth and no way back Oh what a day to get stranded The sea, the master and the slave, we yell and scream but all in vain There's no way to command it We're the innocent abandoned All the miles now mean nothing All the hours, the clocks are stopping To save our blood from being spilled We pray to God we tried to kill Saints and sinners all in one Drenched with fear, we're sinking down To the lowest parts of hell With eyes shut tight as we exhale Oh what a day to get stranded The sea, the master and the slave, we yell and scream but all in vain There's no way to command it We're the unfortunate abandoned On this island in confusion Time for divine retribution For atrocities we've done And the monsters we've become We won't die, we'll live in death Forever smell our rotting breath We're all children of the storm And this is right where we belong Oh what a day to get stranded The sea, the master and the slave, we yell and scream but all in vain There's no way to command it We're the righteously abandoned
That's how I write my lyrics. I write them in Serbian and then GT translates it with rhyming and all. It changes the rhyming scheme from time to time though, but I'm not complaining.
