So I've been tracing back my lineage and my family tree along with my family, and the results I'm finding are astounding. While I still need some time to verify what I've found, if my family's research is correct I could be of Prussian descent and possibly even British as well.

Then if you factor in the fact that the Oswald portion of my family has roots in germany, and that (supposedly) my grandmother had Cherokee Indian roots (although we haven't found ANY evidence of that) this means I could be:

British, German, Prussian, Polish(iffy) and Cherokee Indian (more iffy). Incredible

I said Prussian because it's unclear whether or not I'm actually Russian or Prussian. One document said a relative was RUSSIAN but then...err I don't know. I'm aware that Prussian is more german (which makes sense) whereas Russian doesn't quite fit in the scheme of things. I need to research more.

Could I be both perhaps?

That'd be a lot of different ethnicities, not that it's a bad thing at all.

I am descended from a few different places but I only really consider myself English because that's the culture I've been brought up in most predominantly, quite a bit more so than others.

I'm also directly related to the Spencer family of Wales (Princess Diana et. al.) and Chief Red Cloud of the Sioux who oversaw one of the few Indian battles the United States actually lost.

My paternal grandmother is directly descended from the gentry, which disgusts me. :p

I used the wrong word. I meant peerage, which would be people below the royal family with titles like Baron and Viscount and so on. It was Baron Hindlip I believe. He was my grandmother's uncle or something, and she ended up being adopted, hence me not being out there riding horses and shagging my cousins right now.

The only time I'd ever heard the word gentry was... that one country band's name, Montgomery Gentry.

UGH, I swear to God...The Phillies just kill me. The Nationals have the worst record in the NL and yet the Phillies are losing to them and playing really crappy too. It's such a torture when your favorite team isn't doing well.
