Long day today. Flying and such. 6am-8pm.

dude, i was freaking out, i thought my monitor was dying. i was 10 seconds away from screaming "nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

 

Winnipeg-Gods River-Shamattawa-Gods River-Winnipeg-Island Lake-Sandy Lake-Winnipeg

Look 'em up in Google Earth. All except Sandy Lake are in Manitoba, Canada.

Some pretty isolated places up there, especially Shamtown. Two hours and a bit to get back nonstop from there, but the stop in the river breaks it up a bit. Runway in Gods River is shit...thankfully it's the captain's problem, not mine...my takeoffs and landings are thus far restricted to the nice, long, 200ft wide runways at Winnipeg

and before you ask, yes, some of these places have major issues 'cause of the remoteness

mesopotamia. he's having us watch summary videos of history up until the romans so that we have a basic foundation reminder refresher deal about early early history before the course starts.
